This tie began life as a winning entry in the 2024 Thomas Fortin Design a Tie competition. The original concept by Johnnye Barrera — inspired by sculptural interior motifs — was selected by our Instagram community from a shortlist of finalists, and further developed in collaboration with the designer.
Working closely with Johnnye, we refined the scale of the design and introduced a light, summery colour palette, perfectly suited to the smooth sheen of Italian silk satin. The result is a striking yet elegant tie with flowing architectural forms and soft lilac tones — a standout piece with a refined edge.
Handmade in Pontassieve by Florence Style 1953, a family-run workshop near Florence known for its impeccable silk craftsmanship since 1953.
As with all ties in this release, the reverse features our pink twill tipping printed with George, a 19th-century fashion plate gentleman — a playful signature exclusive to this collection.
