This exceptional tuxedo is cut from a heritage-woven silk brocade by Stephen Walters in Sudbury — one of England’s oldest silk mills, renowned for centuries for weaving cloth for royalty and the finest British houses. The fabric features a large-scale floral jacquard (each bloom approx. 8cm) in deep aubergine and black, giving the jacket a dramatic yet refined evening presence.
The peak lapels are crafted in black silk satin, also from Stephen Walters, and finished in Luciano Suits’ signature wide cut lapel: a bold 14cm (5") lapel that frames the chest and sharpens the V-line of the torso.
The shoulder is built with a light structured profile — often called a “softly padded English shoulder” — giving clean definition without the stiffness of a fully padded traditional dinner jacket. It creates presence, shape, and authority, while still feeling modern and comfortable.
Inside, the jacket is lined in a striking iridescent cherry-red paisley, adding a luxurious flash of colour when worn open. The sleeves feature three working buttons, a hallmark of proper tailoring.
