Thomas Fortin has collaborated with world-renowned braces / suspenders maker Albert Thurston to produce these beautiful handmade striped braces or suspenders in navy and white with pebble grain white leather ends. These are a multi-fit suspender so the work for men of around 5'8" to 6"2.
These braces are made from 50% cotton/50% nylon and woven in England and are Y shaped design so one suspender band fits to the middle of the back of the trouser band and the 2 front ends fit a few inches either side of the fly. 6 buttons are included in the package if they are needed to be added by a tailor.
Albert Thurston, credited with inventing the modern form of braces (or suspenders as they are known in America) , began making them in Haymarket, London in 1820 and celebrated their 200th anniversary year in 2020. Together we have designed these standout pair to complement and enhance any suited ensemble.
