Thomas Fortin has collaborated with world-renowned braces / suspenders maker Albert Thurston to produce these beautiful handmade sand & red striped braces with red fabric braided ends. The style and colour of these braces are evocotive of military colours and striped sashes echoing the red stripe down a British military dress unifrom trouser.
 
Albert Thurston, credited with inventing the modern form of braces (or suspenders as they are known in America) , began making them in Haymarket, London in 1820 and celebrated their 200th anniversary year in 2020. Together we have designed these standout pair to complement and enhance any suited ensemble. 
 
Our  braces are made from 50% cotton/50% nylon and woven in England. The red braided runner ends are encased in a sand colour 100% bovine leather from Italy for a refined and beautiful finish. The fixings are in brass colour . All our suspenders come with 6 buttons to add to trousers.
